• Page 1 (Original Post) • Bj from Oregon (Contact Member) - Trivet Project: I have 10x10x 1/4" tiles I want to inlay into oak, so that the tile on the finished trivet is level with the oak backing and trim. What is the best way to do that? Router, table saw, etc.? The backing would be a good quality 1/4-1/2" oak plywood, with the trim pieces for the edges. I would like it to fit as snug as possible. Comment #1 Al (63.176.159.203) - I would probably use a router. Try searching online. Comment #2 Arvin (63.176.159.95) - Yeah you could use router in this job like what Al said. but I don't think that you could do the project with just using that? You need some manual work for it better sharpen you chisels dude • Page 1 (Original Post) •
