Woodworking - WoodworkingOak & Tile Trivet QThis message board is to discuss Woodshop & Woodworking. We also have a directory of products: Woodshop & Woodworking Trivet Project: I have 10x10x 1/4" tiles I want to inlay into oak, so that the tile on the finished trivet is level with the oak backing and trim. What is the best way to do that? Router, table saw, etc.? The backing would be a good quality 1/4-1/2" oak plywood, with the trim pieces for the edges. I would like it to fit as snug as possible.
