Clogged Bobbin

I have a new sewing machine that seems to want to constantly jam up the bobbin thread from underneath. Why does this happen? It is threaded correctly and the tension is properly set.

However, in your case, since you said you have a "new sewing machine," I think the store you bought it from should be able to help you. I would hope the store would take care of any adjustment or repair necessary on a new machine.

Thanks, Lisa. That site was pretty heplful. I did, infact take the machine in for service, but their hours are weird since they are in the mall in Jo Ann Fabrics and you have to tote this heavy thing clear from one end to the other. I appreciate you finding the website for me. It was indeed the thread not being properly positioned in the tension adjustment.
