I tried to sew something once. I almost ended up with a thread through my fingers, I guess i should have probably kept my eye on the cloth.

I love the way you have called it, 'an old sewing machine.' Think about this, they have undergone modification and adaptations so you would want to save yourself the trouble of spending as much as you would have spent on buying a new one. Weigh your options and settle on the most viable one. Luri, what patterns are you exactly looking for? There are a host of patterns you will find on the net or at your nearest book store but first, you need to specify what you want
