Does anyone have an idea where to go for a good website to give good ideas for scrapbooks? I have four children and would love to create something they could keep forever. I always thought I was kind of creative but it seems I have no idea how to start. Thanks

The important thing is to just start. Ask your kids everyday about something important, useful, happy or otherwise significant about their day. Then see what you can put in your scrap book that represents the significant event(s) of the day.

Also, get your kids involved with you when you are chosing which photos you want in your books. Not only will they feel like they have contributed, but it is an awesome way to spend some quality time with your kids.

What I did when I first started scrapbooking is attend a "Scrap till you Drop" workshop at one of our local craft stores. It was open to everyone - beginners, pros, etc. I learned a lot from the pros and got some great tips!!

I suggest going to a craft store in your town and shop the clearance. Also check out ebay, there are people that just sell scrapbook material and the prices can not be beat by a store. I have bought a lot of scrapbook frames and stickers in auctions.

I love the scissors you buy with the funky edges. My craft store has them at just a dollar per pair. They are great to use when scrapbooking and kids love them!

Target has the "One Spot" where everything is a dollar and they usually have some scrapbooking items there too. I've gotten some really neat scrapbook stickers and sets of paper there.
