I just haven't heard very much about macrame anymore. What happened? Do you think it's a trend and it will come back again full force?

I didn't really even know what Macrame was so yeah I would say that it isn't that popular. I really still don't know very much about it.

The only thing that I remember hearing a lot about it was in the 70's. You can see a lot of it on TV from shows (like Welcome Back Kotter I can remember seeing that hanging plant thing and it was made out of macrame) back then but that's about it.

I believe there is this Home Improvement and lifestyle show back at around 2004 in UK (I don't know if it is still going) where they feature macrame and how tos. I believe the title of the show is "Our House". I wish there are more shows like that these days. We can really need some of those helpful tips for home and lifestyle improvement. By the way I am currently in the Philippines so there isn't much to see here.
