Have you ever heard of dyeing a sweater made ofRed Hart knitting worster. I made a beautiful Irish knit in white and my daughter wanted it in blue. I have used liquid dye for other materails but never on yarn. Any suggestions? Thanks

I used liquid dye one time to dye some curtains. It was a red dye and the curtains turned out fushia. Needless to say pink is not my favorite color. I redyed the curtains with a darker red and they turned out ok, but not exactly what I had expected. Heads up: If you ever want to dye something just try a small piece first if possible.

Ive also had mixed results when i used one of the bottle dyes in the store. I wish i knew a safer way to do it or better instructions. I think some material is just harder to dye then others. I love using natural things to give a dye effect.
