Walmart. Ugh. Isn't there a better place to buy Red Heart Symphony yarn? A small business to support?

What kind of yarn is this Red Heart Symphony thing? Can't you try other replacement? How much does it regularly cost?

I think Red Heart is a brand of yarn. Here is a brief description about this yarn:

Red Heart Symphony is a worsted weight, brushed acrylic yarn to create a soft, mohair look and feel ... at an affordable price! Each of the 7 shades contain 2 or 3 tones to give it depth of colour as well as texture.

100% acrylic, 3.5 ounces (100 grams), Approx 310 yards (283 m)

Machine wash and dry.

I too am ever so desperately trying to

find some Red Heart Symphony Yarn...

According to Coats & Clark the Red Heart

Symphony Yarn has been Discontinued here

in Canada.

It is a Fashion Yarn and they tend to

only have the Fashion Yarns available

for a period of time, then discontinue

them...

Yikes, one would think that if a Yarn

was so popular and in demand, then why

would they discontinue it, whether it

be a Fashion Yarn or not ??

I do think it may still be available

to you folks in the USA.. Lucky folks.

I have been knitting Prayer Shawls for some

of my dearest friends who have been very ill

and for others as Birthday, Christmas and also

Retirement Gifts.

Well, would you believe I have only One Ball

of the River Blue left. Not knowing that I was

not able to purchase more.. I have started this

Prayer Shawl for a dear ladyfriend who is a

PenPal and who lives in New Jersey..

And now am sad & upset that I will not be able

to finish this Prayer Shawl for her as I don't

have one more ball of the River Blue to complete

it.

I live here in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. I have

called WalMart and Herrescheners in Toronto,

Ontario but they both don't have any Red Heart

Symphony Yarn...

If anyone does find some, would love to hear

from you and then I can be in contact with the

Local Yarn Shop or wherever..

I wish you all much luck in your finding what

you're looking for in regards to this amazing

yarn..

PS: And No there isn't a Subsitute Yarn...

Believe me I have Searched High & Low but

all to No Availability whatsoever.
