Didn't know where else to put this but does anyone out there crochet? My aunt taught me when I was very young and still enjoy it to this day. I see more books on knitting though and unfortunately have a hard time when it comes to knitting. It's either too tight or too loose. LOL Comment #1 endora (24.45.126.104) - My grandmother was a expert crocheter and i never learned it from her :( Im now older and wish i had learned or could learn now. She had such talent to even start it without her would be so bittersweet. :( Comment #2 Jeanette from AZ - I've crocheted some Christmas ornaments as well. I didn't use yarn, I used the heavier weight thread. I then starched the ornaments so that they're stiff - not flimsy. They still hold up after all these years. Comment #3 Jameel from Connecticut - I haven't crocheted in years. I would like to start up again. I remember the first time I crocheted - I made a pot holder. I was about 10 years old and gave it to my mother for Christmas. She used it maybe once. I told her not to use it anymore - it had too many holes in it and I was afraid she was going to burn her hand. Comment #4 Cross-Stitch from Stitching - My mom tried to teach me when I was really little. Mom crochets. She crochets afghans and crafts. She's good. I want to crochet, but she didn't try to teach me when I was old enough to learn.
