My sister loves to take my kids' school pictures and have them decorate a frame for it. She uses those popsicle sticks you can buy at the craft store and glues them all together to make a frame. She has the kids decorate the frame any way they like.

Frame decorating is a great idea to do with the kids. My little ones would love to do that and i could give them to the grandparents at christmas time. Thanks for the idea.

You can also take pieces of puzzels and glue them around the frame and at the bottom of the frame title it "Love You To Pieces"

Great idea Snowbird. I'll have to remember that one. My mother in law asked me this year to have the kids make her a Christmas present. She said it means more to her than anything they would buy her. They are all working very hard on their presents!! I take them to the craft store and have them pick out what they want to make. It really gets their creative juices flowing!!

Those are all good ideas, my wife uses lace for the wooden frames or buttons and jewels. They work great with hot glue.

my kids would love that! i think its a good idea for the school picture frames because year after year they can see how they have grown in different ways..

Jeannete's sister is imparting a good virtue into her kids by making them be part of the joy. Just picture the number of kids who frown at their parents because they do not honor all they ask for. We then shift blame on them when they get spoilt yet we need to take the majority of blame for not bringing them up in the best interest of parents and children.
