We did paint by number this weekend and it was a blast. It helps the kids learn colors and numbers at the same time. Along with using creativity. I remember doing them when I was young and forgot how much fun they can be. We got our paint by number books at walmart and just made copies of the pictures for the children. As long as you use it as a learning experience then you can make copies! Comment #1 TexasGal from Dallas, Texas - I used to love paint by number! That was always so much fun! Comment #2 Ember from The Easel - I suppose the paints were just like the little fingerpaints that are crayola and washable. The pictures we did were Christmas. One was Santa and another one was a tree. They turned out great. Comment #3 Milly (1) from my desk! - I use to love to do paint by numbers when I was a kid, but we use to use oil paint and it was on felt. I remember impatiently waiting for it to dry. Oil takes forever! Comment #4 Gail from Tinsel Town - I remember that, it was in the 70's and my paint by number project was on felt too. It was a boat on water. I wonder what in the heck happened to that thing? LOL
