This is a great idea for a mom! Go to your local craft store and purchase paper flower pots, you know the thick kind, or you can buy the ceramic ones (medium) Take a styro foam ball and cut it in half and take the half of the ball and stick with the round side up into the flower pot. You might want to hot glue the sides so the ball doesn't pull out.

Take a silk flower or two and attach it to a pen by wrapping green floral tape around it. Stick the tip of the pen into the styrofoam ball and there you have a pen holder for your moms desk at work or home office that looks like a flower pot and is usable!! You can even spray perfume on the flower so it has a scent!
