Needle-nose chain pliers
Round-nose pliers or rosary pliers

2 Gold-filled or sterling silver lever-back ear wires
16 1" Gold-filled or sterling silver eye pins, 24 gauge and
2 2" Gold-filled or sterling silver eye pins, 24 gauge
42 4mm Swarovski bicone crystals
2 Vermeil or sterling silver bead caps
(minimum 6 holes to hook from plus center hole)
26 4mm Vermeil or sterling silver daisy spacers
14 1" Gold-filled or sterling silver head pins, 24 gauge
14 4-5mm Side-drilled freshwater pearls
2 8mm Swarovski bicone crystal in contrasting color
CONSTRUCTING THE CHANDELIER’S CENTRAL DANGLE
The central dangle contains three sections. This is Section 1 of the central dangle.
Step 1
Begin with a 2" eye pin. Slide one 4mm crystal and bead cap on to the eye pin. Add a second crystal.
Step 2
Using the round-nose pliers, make a partial wire-wrap loop.
Step 3
Using the bent-nose chain pliers, open the loop slightly (out of its flat plane).
Step 4
Insert the lever-back ear finding.
Step 5
Finish the wire-wrapped loop to secure the beads and cap to the ear wire.
The central dangle contains three sections. This is Section 2 of the central dangle.
Step 6
Use the wire cutter to remove 5/16" of the 1" eye pin.
Step 7
Add one crystal. This is Section 2 of the central dangle.
Step 8
Use round-nose pliers to finish end of the eye pin with a rosary loop.
The central dangle contains three sections. This is Section 3 of the central dangle.
Step 9
Use the wire cutter to remove 3/16" of a head pin.
Step 10 Slide on the 8mm crystal, daisy spacer, and side-drilled pearl.
Step 11
Using the roundnose pliers, make a rosary loop.
Hooking All Three Sections Together
Step 12
a) Locate the end of the first section.
b) Using the needlenose chain pliers, open the rosary loop out of its flat plane.
Step 13
a) Hook the second section of the dangle into the
opened loop of the first section.
b) Use the needlenose chain pliers to close the
rosary loop.
Step 14
a) Locate the end of the second section.
b) Using the needlenose chain pliers, open the rosary loop out of its flat plane.
Step 15
a) Hook the third section into the opened loop of the second section.
b) Use the needlenose chain pliers to close the loop.
CONSTRUCTING THE CHANDELIER’S SURROUNDING DANGLES
Step 16
Making the Double Crystal Component Use the wire cutter to remove 5/16" of the eye pin.
Step 17
Slide one 4mm crystal and daisy spacer onto the eye pin. Add a second crystal.
Step 18
Use the round-nose pliers to finish the end of the eye pin with a rosary loop.
Step 19
Repeat steps 16-18 to make five more identical dangle components.
Step 20
Making the Pearl/Crystal Component Use a wire cutter to remove 3/8" of the head pin.
Step 21
Slide one crystal, one spacer, and one pearl on to the head pin.
Step 22
Use the round-nose pliers to finish end of the head pin with a rosary loop.
Step 23
Repeat steps 20-22 to make five more identical dangle components.
FINISHING THE CHANDELIER EARRING
Hooking the Surrounding Six Identical Dangles into the Bead Cap
Step 24
Locate the single crystal component.
Step 25
Using the needle-nose chain pliers, open the rosary loop on the pearl/crystal component.
Step 26
Attach it to the double crystal component.
Step 27
Use the needle-nose chain pliers to close the rosary loop.
Step 28
Using the needle-nose chain pliers, open the rosary loop on the opposite end of the double crystal component.
Step 29
a) Hook the dangle into a bead cap hole.
b) Use the needlenose chain pliers to close the
rosary loop.
Step 30
Repeat steps 24-29 to combine the rest of the surrounding dangles and hook them into the bead cap.
Helpful Hint
Not all bead caps are alike. If yours has more than six holes, distribute the surrounding dangles
as evenly as possible.
