It's an easy craft for little ones to do too. Comment #1 Courtney (1) from The South (Contact Member) - Kids still make those in class. I did a huge web wall in my class and students made those to put on the web. It was very cute. You can also take and fill the little egg carton part with treats to give to them when they take them home on Halloween. Some schools however don't allow you to celebrate Halloween, but luckily mine does. Comment #2 Jeanette from AZ (Contact Member) - My kids' school does not celebrate Halloween. It's kind of sad. I always loved dressing up at Halloween and enjoying the parties in school. Mostly the teachers do those little Halloween bags and fill them up with goodies and send them home with the kids. Comment #3 Courtney (1) from The South (Contact Member) - Another great idea to make spiders is to blow up black balloons and use pipe cleaners for the legs. Take white paint to make a face on the balloon. I am going to try them this year with my students. It is just a project I found online. Comment #4 Michelle from Texas (Contact Member) - Thank you for the spider craft ideas. These both sound like great Halloween crafts. And now I have something to do with that bag of pipe cleaners I've had sitting around in a box for years. Comment #5 endora (24.45.126.104) - Ive done the egg carton ones before and we painted them up which was really nice. I haven't worked with balloons with the kids before. They always man handle balloons so i dont like to use them in crafts. Comment #6 peekaboo from the north (Contact Member) - You could also use styrofoam balls and paint them black and stick pipe cleaners in the sides for legs. Then stick it to an end of a pencil for a scarry pencil topper! • Page 1 (Original Post) •
