Probably the best way to make sure your embroidery turns out the way you want it to when you're new to using an embroidery machine is to look for some designs you can use. There are a number of places you can find them online, most at low cost, and some you won't even have to pay for. Granted, as some have said, a real embroiderer will make up her own design. :)
