Dying Eggs

I love dying easter eggs. I have done it every year for the past 20 years or so. I love just buying the PAAS dye kit. The colors are the best. And I love the cute little slips you put over the egg in the boiling water.

My kids love to dye eggs too. PAAS is probably one of the best kits out there. I bought a store brand because it came free with the purchase of two dozen eggs and the colors were not pretty at all once the eggs dried. My kids love to use the white crayon on the egg and then dip it into the colors. It's a nice effect.

The smell of vinegar always brings back memories of dying eggs on Easter.

I've only used PAAS in the past and the eggs always turn out great.

Do you take crayons and mark the eggs with designs before you color them? My kids love to put hearts and their initials on them.
