Pencils, brands I never know the best kind of pencils or colored pencils to buy. I love to draw, but I think I need better tools. Does anyone have a good brand to suggest.
I have had some good luck with Prismacolor Premier colored art pencils.I tried some cheaper, off brands for awhile and found that they didn't work as well as the more expensive sets.
The best pencil or drawing tools for you is the one where you know how to control and manipulate. I'm also a fan of these Prismacolor pencils. I've always used Prismacolor they have different styles to choose from, anything from soft leads, large leads, thin points. And the price are not that bad.
You could try to look at the ones you have used and choose from them. I also agree that it all depends on how well you can manipulate and control the work of your hand. The type of drawing pencils will vary depending on the shade you want to come up with. Now that you have experimented enough, you are just a step to making that good choice.
