Often I see many types of incredibly well-designed fabrics for industrrial or decoration use only, ie. not to be worn against the skin or as clothing. What is the techical difference of using these fabrics for making clothes?
Is it a safety regulation? is there too much flammability in the pilow or drapery fabric?
One reason Scarlett made the gown out of drapes is that people invested good money on these (or used to) because they had a lot of visual value.
So why couldn't you use the amazing drape fabric as a gown or something today?
