My husband works with high quality wood crafts. He uses different types of wood. Amongst other things, he makes artistic wooden spoons. Usually he coats them with vegetable oil, but not varnish, as people may the spoons for eating or cooking.The problem is that with vegetable oil the wooden crafts loose their shine and spoil easily. Does anybody know of some kind of product we could use to protect the wood, but that is absolutely not toxic and odorless?
