This is another easy one for the kids. Take two pieces of green construction paper and fold it in half the long ways. Now on the folded side draw half of the christmas tree. Now cut around the edge of the tree, make sure you don't cut on the fold. Now open and you should have two full christmas trees. Now on the bottom of one tree, cut a slit right down the middle half way up and on the other tree cut from the top right down the middle halfway down. Now slip the tree with the slit cut on the bottom on to the tree with the slit on the top. Now you have a dimensional christmas tree. The kids can glue glitter and sequence on it for decorations and it you can stand it anywhere you want!

Cute idea and easy!! I can see my kids using buttons as ornaments. My kids are off school starting Friday - I think I'll have them make these to take over their aunt's house for her Christmas party on Saturday.

I've been a fan of paper craft ever since my sister introduced it to me a few years ago.

This site has their own version of a Christmas tree 3 dimensional figure. You can download the pattern that could be printed on 4 ordinary A4 size paper (or you could use photo paper for better results) and the instructions manuals in pdf formats.

There are also lots of templates available on this site and not just Christmas ornaments.

Wow the lick above from Dave has some awesome paper crafts in it! It shows you how to make animal paper crafts they are real cool looking. The animals seem like they might be a little hard to make but I am defiantly going to try them and I will let everyone know.
