Each student will trace one foot. Then they will trace both hands. The foot is the deer head and the hands are the antlers. You can use the little movable eyes that you glue on and a red pom pom for the nose. We used construction paper for the mouth. The foot is on brown construction paper and antlers on black.

Cute idea!! I'm going to do this with my kids. They love doing Christmas crafts. We already have a bag full of those "eyes" LOL

I remember the kids bringing home the reindeer candy canes where they just add pipecleaners for the antlers, wiggly eyes, and a red nose. Of course I guess you could also use a brown nose too.

Oh is that how they made the head!! That is such a cute idea and a memorable piece to save for when they grow up. You can show them how small their foot was.
