What type of paper would you use? I think I could find some cute stamps and sponges that are Christmas designs. Comment #1 Jeanette from AZ (Contact Member) - I wonder how they make it? The only homemade wrapping paper I've seen is when someone wraps a gift with the comic pages. LOL. Comment #2 Courtney (1) from The South (Contact Member) - Last year I was home quite a bit at Christmas time because I was pregnant and I would see craft shows on tv where they made wrapping paper. They didn't make the actual paper, but the designs on the paper. Most of the projects were very country and used rafia and beautiful wired edge ribbon. I can't remember what type of paper they used, and was wondering if anyone here would know what I should look for? Comment #3 endora (24.45.126.104) - I have the newspaper mill paper on the roll that my father got me. We use it for everything including wrapping packages. The girls draw on it all the time and then we wrap the packages. They also use it everyday to draw on and its saved me a ton of money. Comment #4 mongoose from USA (Contact Member) - Novelty paper is the big fun. Comment #5 Fran from New York (Contact Member) - Hey that's a great idea!! I never thought of that before. I also like the idea of tying in the symbol with the gift. My daughter is a basketball fan and I think i'm going to try and find some cute basketball related things. Comment #6 Goldie from on top of Ol' Smokey! (Contact Member) - You could have you children trace their hands on it and make Reindeers! That is kind of cute! You can make recycle paper too, and add things in it like rose petals, glitter. It is easy to do, but takes awhile. You should be able to find a website. Comment #7 Mila from The North Pole (Contact Member) - Any idea to save some money on wrapping paper is good. I spent 4.00 per roll. And, each roll only has 50 ft. I bought about 10 rolls and I am sure it won't even be enough. I just had to have everything matchy matchy because I am hosting a huge office Christmas party. Now I am thinking I should have just made a bunch. Oh well. Maybe next year. • Page 1 (Original Post) •
