I just started looking into this craft and im wondering if the type of wick i use matters in the candles i make. Should i be buying a certain wick like the wax i choose?

I wonder if they make soy wicks they they do wax. I would think that would work out nice! I also heard something about lead in wicks which i would like to learn more about.

I think most people are starting to get away from the wicks with lead in them. I would also like to know why though. I find that they burn better, just as a user. I am not really much of a maker yet. Any insight would be helpfull. I am sure before too long everything will be made from soy.
