Simple artwork for kids to make, could be making cards. There are many different styles including pop up, one of my favorites.

I wish more people made their own cards.

I'd rather send out a personalized effort than a mimeographed newsltter each year with an updated grainy picture of the family.

I hate it when people do that.

Even a bow or a little wreath on a folded card would make it more special. Opeing a Christmas card is always a surprise.

I worked or a Jewish owned company once and they were always interested to see the nice Christmas cards.

I wish people made their own cards too. I know it takes the extra time and effort, but it is so much more personalized. I have kept all of the homemade cards from students over the past few years and they are just a treasure.

Making homemade cards at Christmas is a nice idea, but when you send out over 100 cards a year it can get overwhelming. Believe me, I speak from experience. I thought it would be a grand idea to make our Christmas cards from scratch and although the cards turned out beautiful, it was very overwhelming. That was five years ago. I haven't made a homemade card since. LOL.

I love making cards with stamps. I don't have a large stamps collection, but I'm working on it. I'm not as creative as I'd like. But Stampin' On Up gives lots of project ideas and they're all really cute.
