I would like to make some of these with my nephews, does anyone know where I can find a kit fairly cheap? Comment #1 Jeanette from AZ - I think I've seen something like this at Michael's or Joanne Fabrics. What's nice is both of these places have an insert every Sunday with coupons that you can use. I've gotten lots of great deals with those 40% off coups!! Comment #2 Courtney (1) from The South - Oh yeah I love the one item 40 or 50% off coupons that come in the sunday ads. I use them all of the time. We have a Jo Annes, but I forgot about looking there. Thanks for the info. Comment #3 Makis77 from Earth - well i think the most quick thing to do is to google. Comment #4 endora (24.45.126.104) - Ive found them at the local wal-mart for the kids. Be careful though because some of the kits come with very little sand so all you can make is one or two bottles and that takes no time at all. I would buy the sand and bottles separately honestly so you have more to work with. Comment #5 mongoose from USA - Links to the coups please? Comment #6 Mila from The North Pole - I just bought a kit at Michaels from RoseArt for kids to do. The ad on Sunday had them on sale for 4.99 so I bought three of them for a nephew and a couple of nieces. I will let you know if they work out well. Comment #7 Milly (1) from my desk! - Roseart has a great variety of crafts for kids! They even have a craft where you take sand and shake it on adhesive backing to make cool sand pictures Comment #8 MissCrissy from Stampin' On Up - I made sand art bottles from a kit years ago. I think they ended up being candles. I don't think anyone burned them though. They were just too pretty. Comment #9 Gail from Tinsel Town - My daughter received a kit like this for her birthday. We ended up seeing it at Target. I think it was $14.99. She had a lot of fun with it. It's still sitting on her bookshelf. Miraculously all the sand is still in it and not on the floor. Hee hee. Comment #10 MissCrissy from Stampin' On Up - Not getting the sand everywhere is quite a feat! I bought funnels just for the sand art project. Oh boy did they help. And they've come in handy for other projects since.
